In 2023 The Chinese University of Hong Kong will be 60 years old. Since our foundation, we have made significant contributions to society through our teaching, research and public engagement. As we celebrate our 60 years of excellence, let us continue to set a good social example.

Sustainable Development Goals

The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), as a socially responsible institution, is committed to addressing society’s greatest challenges and contributing to the well-being of the global community through teaching, research and public engagement. CUHK contributes to the advancement of the 17 United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We encourage our students and staff to engage in or initiate creative and actionable projects to amplify our social impacts while celebrating our 60th anniversary.

2023 marks the 60th Anniversary of CUHK, and is also the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change (MoCC). A celebration to mark the museum’s anniversary will be held in December.

The 9th round of ‘CUHK Entrepreneurship Day’ will be organized by The CUHK Alumni Torch Fund. The entrepreneurial achievements of CUHK members will be showcased through entrepreneurship exhibitions, keynote lectures, entrepreneurship project display areas, entrepreneurship master classes, entrepreneurship competitions, and small entrepreneurship studios, in order to promote an entrepreneurial culture on campus.
