The Arctic and Antarctic regions are by far the most responsive on Earth to climate change, and are where its effects on landscapes and biodiversity can be observed almost immediately.
Those who have witnessed these changes first-hand, including researchers, explorers, and local inhabitants alike, are amongst those who have contributed to the widespread communication on how the vast, pristine ice caps have shrunk and been transformed, and have stressed why this matters so much to human-kind.
In this exhibition, the images, sounds, videos and sketches captured by generations of reporters and advocates, reveal stories of the many witnesses of Polar dynamics over recent decades.
These experiences should hopefully encourage a greater audience to take on the responsibility of becoming change-makers in climate action and sustainability.
