- The Coral Academy, led by Professor Apple Chui, Research Assistant Professor from the School of Life Sciences, is an outreach programme to promote the conservation of corals and marine biodiversity. The Academy offers a diverse range of community engagement activities, including seminars, workshops, eco-tours, and lab visits.

- Participants established a stronger connection with corals and nature through a series of hands-on activities including coral cookies painting, adopt-a-coral session, visits to coral culturing facilities and coral tanks
