Why ‘60303’?
‘60‘ refers to CUHK’s 60th anniversary and ‘303 ‘ is a homophonic pun of heart to heart in Chinese.
Objectives
To amplify CUHK’s social impact via service to the community
To realize the 60th anniversary vision of ‘where great minds shine’ by connecting with and caring for the community.
By Whom?
The programme encourages all members of the University, including students, staff, alumni and their family and friends.
How?
The ‘CU60303 • Care & Unite’ programme is a community service programme which aims to encourage CUHK members to pledge and perform 60 hours of social service and undertake volunteering service or other community engagement activities, either individually or as part of a group, to make the 60th anniversary memorable.
We are excited to partner up with Social Career, a local non-profiting making organization linking NGOs with volunteers, to extend the range of volunteering and community engagement activities we can offer to CUHK fellows.
